Zilenoz Blackheart, known as Zilenoz Pinkbeard at the time, was one of the most chaotic, irrational and potentially dangerous disciples of the Kirin' tor. Bent upon the radical use of destructive magics for power and ultimatly personal gain he became one of the primary concerns of the great council of magi (besides the young spellcaster Rhonin who was also on their black list) Son of the famous illusionist Mustis Pinkbeard, his spellcasting was so reckless that the magocrats of the great city had to find a way to get rid of this megalomaniac before he could do any real damage to the kirin: tor or the city of Dalaran itself. Luckly for them, the perfect opportunity came with the coming of the tides of darkness and the advance of orcish troops into the northern lands. They made him official war-courier of Dalaran, in hopes that this most dangerous task would meen the death of the pink haired gnome, if the orcs didn't eat him, he was shure to die from a rogue arrow, disease or burnt to ashes by the dragonriders of the horde. As perfect as that plan seemed, Zilenoz (like most dangerous megalomaniacs) came to survive the great war by a curious mix of skills, cunning and plain luck...
Thinking him dead, the magocrats ultimatly sold his property, stole most of his books and took his riches for themselves. Zilenoz came back to Dalaran to learn the awful truth: he had survived four years of war and bloody conflict only to return to utter nothingnes. He then swore to have revenge on not only the high council but all of Dalaran. And so, with only a handfull of salvaged grimoires and scrolls he left the violet city to settle as a hermit in an abandoned Watchtower. His revenge came some twenty years later, when the archdemon Archimonde crushed the city under his iron heel. Fueled by vengence Zilenoz resumed his quest for power and soon learned that magic originaly came from demons such as Archimonde and the legendary fallen god Sargeras. If he could harness the power of demons, the purest form of nethermagic, he would be unstoppable! And it is that day he became...a warlock!
