Nearly three years ago, from an alternate timeline created by the meddling of the Infinite Dragonflight, a young high elf priestess was manipulated away from her home and family and flung into this one via the Caverns of Time.
In her timeline, Mirien Dargath is the youngest daughter of a high elf paladin named Sevilae Dargath and his second wife, the Shen'dralar night elf Kiralyn Windsinger. She lived a sheltered life as a noble's daughter in Silvermoon City, and was studying to become a priestess of the Light. Unfortunately, her idyllic existence was thrown into chaos with the sudden death of her mother. Ruled a murder, while her father was away hunting for her killer, Mirien was left alone in her grief. It was then, at her most vulnerable, that she was approached by a stranger who promised to give her a chance to see her mother alive and well once more. Naive and desperate, the girl went with the stranger, who took her to the Caverns of Time.
It was there that the stranger's true nature was revealed, that of a member of the Infinite Dragonflight. Before he could be stopped, the dragon tore open a portal in the cavern and flung Mirien into the timeline that is this one.
When she came to, she realized that while she was in the same world, it was also not. Conflicts existed that hadn't before, her homeland had a large festering scar coursing through it, and people she knew and loved were not quite the same. Most jarring was the realization that while both her parents were alive and well, just as the dragon had promised her, they were not married and had only just become friends when she arrived.
Fast forward to the present day, Mirien is still around, though not without the help of a set of enchanted bracers given to her by the bronze dragon, Chromie. Because she is out of her timeline, without the aid of these items she would gradually fade away from existence. Since she is now owes her very life to the bronze dragonflight, she currently works from Chromie in collecting important "artifacts" from around the world. Between these assignments, she works in her chosen field as a priestess, healing the sick and injured both on and off the battlefield.
