History/Biography

No one truly knows Locavera's origins, there is no record of his birth, no record of him what-so-ever prior to construction of Gnomeregan.  The first mention of him in any official history is shortly before the Dwarves and Gnomes met, when he applied for a Marriage License from Silvermoon City.  He was married to a Marissa Sunseaker, and moved into a large house in the southern portion of Eversong Woods, in the region now known as The Ghostlands.  A few years later they bore a single son, Lantharias Thornthalas.  Loc became a Knight of some renown, fighting in the First and Second Wars against the Orc Hordes.  During the Third War he was one of the Knights tasked with defending The Blackened Woods.  He failed terribly in his mission, and lost nearly his entire battalion in the conflict.  He spent the better part of a month recovering from his wounds.  When he awoke he learned that southern Eversong was all but overrun with undead, including his home town Goldenmist Village.  Despite the medic’s protest, Loc rushed from recovery, and ran back down to Goldenmist.  What he discovered upon arrival haunts him to this day, and he has disclosed it to no one.  After this, he vanished for five years.  Loc has recently returned, and set about trying to make up for a number of his previous short comings, notably his failure to stop the Scourge from overrunning his adopted homeland.  His mission has become the eradication of the Scourge on every front, and to this end he has formed his own order of knights, The Order of the Impending Dawn.
