On a day foretold by prophecy, Hoarkin was born.  On that day the cerulean skies wept crimson and pumpkin fire and every pregnant woman in the land miscarried.  A convocation of demons and evil magi took turns repeatedly possessing the infant gnome's mind (for no apparent reason), infusing him with Limitless Awesome Power...making his verdant tresses glow with eldritch coruscating luminescence and his azure ocular orbs shimmer with balefire...
