Members of her Family would argue Illurie ''Gazrael'' Thealidor had the potential to be a perfect soldier. No memory of family, of childhood. Nothing concerning the Great Wars, no distraction borne from the Sunwell's destruction. She, in essence, came to ''be'' the day she was accepted into the Family as the heir to the legacy of the third Deathwarden, Anda'rikkel Gar'thokk. Through circumstances unknown she knows nothing of her life and the history of the world before that date, and is more than happy to keep that way.

Studying under the tutelage of Master Tyridius Maldeth, she has been trained for the dangerous job of battlefield healer. The Family had suffered many irreversible losses since the charge of the Horde into Outlands, and the liaisons of the High Warlord Muargon convinced each other that introducing the ''disgusting'' Sin'dorei to their ranks as healers and physicians would improve the general life expectancy of their warriors.

As the whispers of Illidan and Kael'thas the Betrayer die on the lips of the collective Family, their hungry eyes begins to train on the cold citadels of Northrend. Under the order of both her former Master and senior Bloodwardens, Gazrael has entered into a period of stasis, of ''retirement.'' She is to be at full strength, kept secure until the gates of Northrend are opened- And not even she knows why.
