The cheerful and upbeat daughter of Farstrider Ceridonis Brightarrow and his lady Falidraene, Alys grew up ever wishing to emulate her father. A little girl tagging along at his heels as he strode through the forests, she yearned to wield a bow and dance amongst leaves where her mother would have rather seen her dancing with a man--garbed in a gown of silk instead of moss. Before the untimely death of Ceridonis, he had taken Alisaene beneath his wing as she long dreamed, and so carries his mantras and deep values close to heart. While the Sindorei struggle to reclaim their former glory and restore their people, Alys strives to do it from the place of her father's mud-caked boots.
