Elsbeth Forrester had a loose reputation around Dalaran, overlooked due to her magical gifts and her sacrifice in going through the Dark Portal to save Azeroth. Elsbeth saw no need to alter her hedonistic ways on Draenor, and while the Sons of Lothar were stranded in Outland, Alynore was born. Nore grew up at various military posts, including Honor Hold, Allerian Stronghold, and Kirin'Var. Elsbeth never could settle down for long, so Nore had a new pseudo-father figure fairly often; she never knew her biological father and it never concerned her much.
She was pre-adolescent when the Betrayer came to Outland and Elsbeth died in the line of duty. Kamron Marcus, her mother's latest partner, took responsibility for the girl and began to train her as a common soldier, using her as a messenger and standard bearer at first. The only magic she could manage were simple enchantments, but one of the Gnomish mages taught her to augment her armor through engineering as well. Nore was 13 when she met Vindicator Varduun of Arklon. He saw potential beyond normal soldiering in her, and began to train the young Human in the ways of the Naaru and the Light.
When the Portal re-opened and the Burning Legion threatened her mother's homeworld, Alynore joined the Shattered Sun's expedition to Quel'Danas; mostly in a support role thanks to her youth, though she did participate in some skirmishes and defensive actions. Once the demons were foiled, she decided to travel south and learn more of the world her people came from, starting in her mother's homeland of Arathi and continuing to Stormwind, where she joined The Silver Dragoons under "Hellfire" Harrigan. She's risen through the ranks to become a Lieutenant, heading up the Golden Guardians squad.
Nore was vexed by Professor Harrison Jones and barred from archaeological studies from any instructors on Azeroth. She was also forced to take etiquette classes to deal with her temper issues when it came to men she perceived as flirtatious. Rumors in the Keep say she and Wesley Brennan (of the Viper Crew squad) have a mutual attraction, despite (or because of, depending on who you ask) Wes being stuck in his Worgen form.
Description: Alynore is in her late teens/early twenties. She has a variety of battle scars, and enough strength for her arms and armor. Otherwise, she's the spitting image of her mother; average height, curvy build, auburn hair kept in a ponytail, green eyes, and a tanned, clear complexion. She often smells of sweat and engineering grease, underlayed by the tang of arcane essences. Her non-combat clothes are usually made of Outland materials; she rarely ever wears dresses. Her favored weapon is a simple crystal-forged longsword.
Nore is pragmatic and rarely holds a grudge; more in favor of getting the job done. She is noticeably uncomfortable around many civilians her own age, particularly boys. She's a military brat who's become military herself.
