I am familiar with both, and I prefer Anger.

I'd say angry, mostly because I have ideas on how to get over being angry, wheras getting over being sad is a lot harder.
Sadness makes you passive, anger draws attention to yourself.
I'd much rather go unnoticed when I have upsetting problems.
