Have/Would You Create an IM Profile Specific for a WoW Character?

I'm not very good about turning IM programs on, but I did join the Twitter project with Rhan. That's kinda IM-y... :)

I'm not going to bother making new IM profiles just for characters (though I have used character names as aliases/handles). I just try to be careful about who I give said info to in most cases. I also know how to use functions such as "block/ignore" and  "don't let anyone not on my friends lists able to IM me." My emails, IM, Twitter, and Facebook friedlists go through periodic purgings for various reasons now and again as well.

(( Actually, I have a profile on The Wandering Blade website (http://www.wanderingblade.org) that just recently started up since I felt it might be something cool, different, and interesting to try. So now Moriurya has her own email address (moriurya@wanderingblade.org) of which I chat to other people whom have gmail as well. I have started to get into it a little and found it easy to manage and also helpful for when I want to do things specifically from my character without having to download anything and with a specific name rather than my own personal name.

I use MSN, Gmail, Twitter, and anything else that catches my interest. ^_^ ))

(( I voted have/would not because I plan to but because I have in the past. Mainly when I was using IRC and changing my screen name was as easy as a /nick command. ))

I won't/haven't since I only RP in game. Feels like a waste otherwise.

I said 'other' as I don't RP cross-faction much, so I don't need an 'online presence' IC'ly.........99% of RP, for my character, can be done in-game.  For the occasional cross-faction conversation or story plot I tend to RP in a temporary room/window and have never done such things often enough to consider an IM profile to be worthwhile for me.
