Coffee - By Dimetrius

Half Way There, Oh Bother
Much of the Company noticed my growing belly, now that I am almost halfway along and have gained eight pounds. My armor fit me like normal until yesterday, when this bulge popped up in my sleep. Why does this child think he can just roll around and stretch out my abs, rubbing against the backside of them until it is smooth and comfy? I may have created the little thing, but that doesn’t give right to abuse my insides.
It Moved
Just the smallest of movements, but still there like the sudden pop from a campfire. Even as the thoughts of the future weigh on me like a very heavy burdon, I smile just slightly. Gil would be so excited if I told him, but right now I want it for me, just for me ... my own feeling I do not have to share with anyone.
Food - By Dimetrius
When one awakes from sleepless slumber,
One feels empty,
Confused.
Hold My Hand
((was listening to this song when the idea for the post came to me))
He hadn't felt this kind of pain in years. His chest was sore, his eyes were bleary and his breath came in short gasps.
But it wasn't because of his illness.
United Beyond Silence
Satin drapes carress my cheek as I look upon the morning dew drops glissening off the sunlit clearing of the surrounding forest from my window. The light of dawn has already passed, yet the glow of the awakening earth tingles within my eyes. My heart flutters with happiness, yet a tear runs down my silk covered arm, staining the white fabric with a very fine gray.
To Contain is to Be Contained
"First Sergeant ... Rya. What's your twenty?"
The butcher's voice could be heard from her mechanical box across the room, but neither occupant paid attention to the message. Wrapped within the arms of each other, Gil and Rya were in their own beautiful world. Life had been busy enough to keep the engaged couple separate for the majority of the time, making their coming together all the more intense.
"I love you."
"And I you."
An hour or so passed before the two realized there seemed to be a stir on the box. Gathering themselves, the lovers kissed lovingly before Rya quickly dashed off to do her duty. She didn't explain to him, there was no need to explain when there is a threat to be subdued.
"Brightsinger here; sorry for the delay."
"Rodger that. Girl's been found. Heading back to the ruins to aid with the clensing."
Third Time's The Charm
This must be what it feels like to walk on a cloud...
His heart was beating like a Seventh-legion chain gun. His face was red and the broadest grin he'd worn in a long, long time was stretched across his scarred visage. Everything was perfect. His heart was overflowing with joy. Things that had brought him down and depressed him had faded away to nothingness. He truly happy for the first time in ages. The half-elf could see the scene play over on the underside of his eyelids every time they closed.
"Get out there!" a muffled voice cried out.
Tonight I Am Thine

Kenon's Story
“I told you all of this before If you would just listen a moment and stop accusing me of things you would have all the information you are asking for!”
Kenon hates Blood Knights, or at least pushy, in-your-face Blood Knights
Malevolence
(( Started from "Safe in Silvermoon?" ))
Safe In Silvermoon?
"Rya ... Rya you need to go through the portal...."
Why is there so much blood?
"Rya! Rya, go now!"
Dimetri? Where am I going? Why are you not coming? Who's blood is that? ... Dimetri?
"Don't you touch her, Sunblade!"
Who are you yelling at, Dimetri? I am the only Sunblade here ...
"Now, Kenon! Take her now!"
No, Dimetri! Don't make me leave you! No!
Children's Week -Rough Draft
Slow As She Goes
Another dream.
Floating did not occur in this one, nor did a fight break out.
I did not wander through the forest of emotion.
Just another dream.
There is no white knight of shining armor,
No dark and sinister enemy planning revenge.
I find no demons stalking me,
No fields of flowers to frolic in with my lover.
Be Prepared
"Alright! Take five!"
The voice boomed over the field of workers raising tents. The location for the food had been established, after much diliberation, and those Recruits and Rangers that had volunteered to get everything prepared for the Archery Competition were out of breath in the afternoon sun that glared from the golden crowns of the Sunstrider towers.

The One Where Ivor Comes /This/ Close to Punching a Defenseless Commoner
Ranas set a gentle hand on his brother's shoulder. "Hey come on, don't talk to him like that?"
"Or what?" Bearyn seethed through his self righteous sneer. "He'll send me packing without the ten silver pieces he's paying us to dismantle this old shack?"
"No, I'm more concerned that he's about to haul off and break your nose." Ranas tugged at his brother to stand down while shooting an apologetic expression up to Ivor.
Ivor's narrow stare didn't do much to warn the beligerant elf away. Rather it seemed to encourage him. His indignance gave Ranas' scrutiny purchase to rise into an attack. The argument seemed to come out of nowhere. Ivor had led a small detail of laborers to the Ghostlands shore to dismantle and scavenge lumber from a captured Kal'Dorei outpost. Ivor brought the twins on in hopes that it would lift their spirits and help out with their ailing mother. He had no inkling of the sort of axe Baeryn had to grind.
Hello, My Pet
With a creak of leathery skin, a boned body turned to stare at Rya with yellowed, rheamy eyes. The undeath gave what could only be a grin as five other bodies -not living, but certainly not dead- rose awkwardly to their feet.
Sunburst Outta Here!
He was gone.
I had to deal with him, even if I didn't want to. The retreat was vacant; the ricochet of our heated discussion no longer would bounce around the walls.
Now when I walk these halls, it feels like my home again.
Be gone, Sunburst.
Sorry to Sunburst Your Bubble
She was gone.
I had to deal with that, even if I didn't want to. The house was vacant; the ricochet of our voices would no longer bounce around its cozy walls.
Now when I came home, it no longer felt like home.
I miss you, Tal.
Hostiles
"Due to the severity of the illness currently infesting Captain Lightstrider, Isardeth Alament will here-after take on the duties as Captain of the Fifth Farstrider Company."
I should be honored for the privilege to work along directly with (now) Captain Alament, the troops sure have their excited hushed whispers, but my body is tense with expectation. Of all the members of the Farstriders, Isardeth and I seem to have fate entwine our stories. What will this man, my now direct Commanding Officer, decide to do upon seeing the camp we had set up just North of Dawning Lane? What will his eyes say to me when he sees how close I am to Gil? Will his first decision be to end the contract that binds Gil to the Company and send the exile out of Quel'Thalas again?
There are worse dangers within these lands than an exile.
Her Favorite Cheese
Ivor had met with the Regency earlier that week. His petition was humble and pandered to their desire to not be bothered by the ruined half of the Capitol or the disenfranchised that live there. He was named Warden of Falconwing and given a very stingy budget. He wasn't sure how best to allot the gold, but he was determined to stretch it for all it was worth in the citizens' interest.
To make sure enough resources went into labor and general welfare, Ivor had been putting thought to policing the area. Surely he could deputize a few men, but that would be a costly payroll. The Blood Knights clearly didn't care about the ruins. They would only pass through from time to time to survey potential threats from the wretched. The Blood Hawks stationed there were almost entirely corrupt. Ivor had taken to practically bribing them to refrain from their ritual abuses and interrogations.

Confronted
"Bad place for a fight," a voice whispered in his ear.
"It is," Dimetri agreed lightly, then caught himself. He was suddenly terrified. Someone was walking along just behind him. Just a shadow, just a shape at his shoulder.

Uprising: Part Two (Allies)
"I bring word from the Regeant Lord of Silvermoon. Lord Lor'themar demands an explanation for the presence of this ... exile in our lands."
He had my attention, this messenger from the Regeant Lord; he spoke as if he had more authority than the Ranger-General. He looked like a part of the Blood Knights ... smelled like one too.
"Quel'Thalas is as much my home as it is yours and I would not see it fall to our ancient enemy. Now you tell your cowardly Regeant--"
Uprising: Part One
"Chanting?"
"I heard it too, First Sergeant. They are definitely chanting."
"And the patrols?"
"They pulled back, m'am. Not a stalker anywhere we can track."

Routine
I've battled them my whole life; they have been there since as long as I can remember, and now they were more active then ever I thought. There is no way to explain all of this simply, yet I must work toward explaining it or I will be captured and held prisoner against any possible hope I can muster.
