As We Wait
I told Thrall’tukk once, that if I had my way, I would stay at home, be a tailor, and never fight again. He didn’t believe me, and I’m starting to believe he was right. I am certainly at home more now that I have been in recent days, but I find there are times when I just have to, move.
Pand is kind enough to check in on Leiral those short times I’m gone, and I’m terrified that she’ll wake up when I’m away. I believe she’d forgive me, she understands the need to go, but I don’t think I’d ever forgive myself.
I just can’t seem to help it.

An Undelivered Message
Did you see the moon tonight, Brother? Hanging heavy, fat and full in the sky in all her glory? The wolves sang their jealousy of her beauty tonight and for the first time I felt and shared their pain.
It was a pleasant surprise to see you at Freewind post, but only for a moment. I could see in your eyes the trouble you were carrying. Brother Rishmilu was there and at first I found it strange he didn’t come to greet me as you did, but I must also admit there was a knot in my stomach when I looked from him to you that I couldn’t explain.

A Peaceful Day
<The following is written on a sheet of parchment and tucked into a bound leather envelope along with a number of blank pages, possibly a make-shift diary>
I returned home early and crawled directly into bed. The better part of my day had been spent deep within the Wailing Caverns in the mud and slime. It was still bright with the sun glowing warm overhead when I finally emerged. Far too weary for more work in my grime-covered armor I decided it was the perfect opportunity to swim in the small pond I’d found to the north.

Letter From the City of Stone
I’ve been working hard, Brother, taking on all that is asked of me and accomplishing my tasks quickly and efficiently. I even made it as far as the orc city of Orgimmar. There was still plenty of light left in the day so I opted to further my travels to the city of the undead.

Letter From the Mesa
My dear Crows,
I remember the story of the moon well, it's always been a favorite of mine. Even seeing it written in your letter brought warmth to my heart and fond memories with it. Do you remember when we were young how we would chase the wolves thinking we could save the blessed moon from falling from the sky? I triped once over a rock and sprained my ankle but you were there to heal me, just as you've always been. Promise me that when I am there with you again you will tell the story to me so I may close my eyes and be wrapped in your voice.

Keepsakes: Dagger from Medicine Crows
(( Originally posted February 14, 2007 @ RealmPortal ))
It was ornamental: a decoration for her hut, the letter had said.
She'd been moving around so much since, well, everything had changed. She wasn't certain if she'd spent two nights together in the same place. Even before that, though, she had a memory of a string of inns, or of a house that was certainly not hers to decorate.
