The Wolvenfang Institute
The Wolvenfang Institute is one founded after the First War by a noble known as Lord Aedilus Wolvenfang, leader of the Wolvenfang Estate. Once all seemed lost for the humans and Lord Anduin Lothar retreated to Lordearon, Aedilus began his own private study of the Orcs and all other threats to Azeroth, deeming it his own "Institute". As time progressed, the Institute became more renown in it's own way and was soon promoted to an official government organization under The Alliance of Lordaeron.
Soon the influence expanded and power transfered less from Stormwind and more to King Terenas Menethil II. After the Second War, the Institute was at it's hight, recieving massive amounts of funding from King Menethil and the rest of the Alliance, it held more power than it could be responsible for. The knowledge of Azeroth was great, but Azeroth's knowledge of it was very little.
Yet dark times were ahead. As many Wolvenfang agents spread out to Kalimdor and even some to the Outlands, the knowledge of Azeroth was far greater than any King or Government. General Felairen Jodar was now in control, and as he saw all his "eggs in one basket", he decided to find another benefactor. Thus, he turned his sights to Orgrimmar and Cheiftan Thrall.
Because of this, Wolvenfang was now above the law and political arrangements, it was one with both the Horde and Alliance. General Jodar was correct and in due time Lordaeron fell along with the Kings, thus leaving many Wolvenfang Agents stranded and many research facilitites and headquarters abandoned. The Scourge ravaged the land and it was this threat Wolvenfang did not anticipate.
Soon General Jodar had been slain in battle and Wolvenfang was without a leader and recieved very little funding from Orgrimmar. Wolvenfang still managed itself slowley, many agents began researching against the Scourge for various Racial Leaders while others still investigated such activites of the Burning Legion and Kael'thas.
As time progressed, leadership fell into the hands of an Old High Elven Priest who was once a Agent for Wolvenfang and a Commander in the First and Second Wars. It is him who now leads it, it's mission is to reestablish the Wolvenfang Institute and to prepare Azeroth for any more threats. We watch and wait in the shadows, ready to be called upon whenever Azeroth is in danger.
Wolvenfang Startup
((Alright everyone, the Wolvenfang Institute is up and running. Although our numbers are a bit low, we intend for them to pick up within a couple weeks. Hopefully we can draw the attention of other RPers who may be looking for something a bit different. We intend on helping Shadow Council revive RP and perhaps even bring some old RPers back.
We generally accept all types of RP and are looking for some "nobles" or "Clan leaders" to fund the Organization RP-Wise. Furthermore, the only Role Players we may not accept are demons and such due to the fact that Wolvenfang was created for the -protection- of Azeroth. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.))
