Mairead for her own reasons offered her estates Dalaran as a place of refuge from my father and the beast he had summoned to kill me. I accepted as it was one place where that demon would never be able to touch me as I recovered.
Plus there was a major bonus she had a library.
It was one room where I could completely relax since even the servants didn't bother or try to wait on me in there.
Ripples in the Great Song
They lay together, bodies clasped, the afterglow of the moment still lingering as their heartbeats echoed a descant to one another’s. The moon playfully delved through the open sheers to splay errant beams of light upon their sweat dampened flesh.
Nightsonge lay on her side, her long indigo hair cascading loosely off the side of the raised dais to pool onto the floor. Kaedarn’s body lay protectively over hers, his pale skin in stark contrast to her golden complexion. One calloused hand gently caressed the edge of her silken shoulder as the newly mated pair relished in the diminishing ache of Ma’kado answered at long last.
Why We Sing
I wanted her to do it.
Not because I don't trust the goblin barbers; for all their reputation, goblins are fairly good stylists and have studied (so as to make the greatest profit) the subtle variations of each race's hair. But this time I did not want their trimming and flipping and practiced waves. Nor did I want to do it myself, and perhaps take off too much or not enough in the wrong places and end up lopsided and silly. It was a task to have another do for me, and I wanted Shar to do it.

Songs That Remind You of RP (Reprise)
One of my favourite discussion threads on the RealmPortal was Satyra's "Songs That Remind You of Arpee". I've decided I miss it enough to bring it here to Haven ^_^ (I did a search to see if anyone else had started one, but didn't find anything, so here's hoping.)
The basic idea was this: you're somewhere, listening to music, when a song comes on and makes you think "Hey, that reminds me of <insert character name here>". Then you post the song lyrics here.
To start it off again, I was listening to this one today, and it made me think of Lorith:
