Silvermoon City
Maybe It's Worth a Shot
"It's that time of the year again. That special occasion when the single folks profess their feelings for one another, and the lovers do what they do best. I mean when it comes to this place, you can see it everywhere. You can see it in the gifts presented, the looks that are shared, and the all-too-public displays of affection. You can even see it between co-workers when they want to express that forced and awkward relationship that reminds them so much of the work they want to get away from. It's also that special time of year that brings those goblins from the Crown Chemical Co. swarming in to sell their wares to anyone they can shake a stick at. Don't ask me about that Peddlefeet guy, by the way. I still can't figure him out. Okay, back to love. For those who are lucky, the love folks experience continues to grow over time. Or, even better, they might get to discover the miracle of life.
The Lights of Silvermoon
The Light was strong that night, to be found in the most unexpected of places.
Moonbeams
Moonbeams.
They dance upon the walls of my room here in Silvermoon City where I am for the moment. I have no desire to return to the dusty sandlots that are the Burning Steppes quite yet. I prefer to be here, with the sheets of satin and the comfortable words flowing through the lips of my native Sin’dorai. I had enough time getting out the sand this morning in the bath. It does seem to get everywhere.
But yes, gazing up through the gauzy window shades up to the heavens my mind turned like an hourglass. I knew it is quite late, but my thoughts kept me turning. The wind turned colder now, the blankets not quite warm enough to hide the chill running through me.
Kenon's Story
“I told you all of this before If you would just listen a moment and stop accusing me of things you would have all the information you are asking for!”
Kenon hates Blood Knights, or at least pushy, in-your-face Blood Knights
Hostiles
"Due to the severity of the illness currently infesting Captain Lightstrider, Isardeth Alament will here-after take on the duties as Captain of the Fifth Farstrider Company."
I should be honored for the privilege to work along directly with (now) Captain Alament, the troops sure have their excited hushed whispers, but my body is tense with expectation. Of all the members of the Farstriders, Isardeth and I seem to have fate entwine our stories. What will this man, my now direct Commanding Officer, decide to do upon seeing the camp we had set up just North of Dawning Lane? What will his eyes say to me when he sees how close I am to Gil? Will his first decision be to end the contract that binds Gil to the Company and send the exile out of Quel'Thalas again?
There are worse dangers within these lands than an exile.

The idle sound of sharpened claws dug into beautifully carved stone of the fountain in the Bazaar. The body that the wicked weapons belonged to had been leaning against the marble more so than usual, almost in a nearly depressed manner. Did she know she was sinking against it with each passing thought? Had anyone bothered to take a glimpse at hollowed eyes, their answer would have been no.
Her life had become so dull... So... Normal.
She had been tamed, of all things.
Yet there she stood night after night by herself, lost in devastating thoughts that would have driven any normal man insane. The only sign of her life had been the faint movement of damaged hands.

((As an OOC note I would like to say that this is NOT an attack on anyone! Sky just has some -really- unlucky RP moments everytime she goes to SMC, so please don't take offense OOCly, especially to those mentioned.))
Black claws ran through the blue-tipped, snowy lock of hair, pushing the tangled mess back into a pony tail to get what parts annoyed her out of the way. Once finished with the meaningless task, arms crossed on the cool, slightly damp edge of the fountain decorating the usually empty Bazaar. She felt at most peace in such a disgusting city in the most remote location from any of those “idiots” in the Exchange.
The truth was that she hated them all.
Restoring a little faith (intro)
Blood splatters on Tamlin as he skins the prize laying in the grass.
A few months ago he would have killed me on sight and maybe done the same to me.
The light faded from my life as it faded from the Scarlet Crusade with the death of our beloved General. We became the hunted and to survive, I walked away from New Hearthglen into the arms of the alliance.
Unsure if they would spare me but they did.
~Everyone Shall Play a Part
Cloak sweeping around her ankles, Deathrose Lithera approached a young woman who went by the name of Demesne Kal'teas. Covered from head to toe in the shade of ebon, a speculative gaze filled her dark-circled eyes.
"I am Deathrose Lithera. We met earlier today, if you recall. The Ashes have forwarded a message to me- A message, that you are needed within our kingdom..." Deathrose Lithera's voice was a low grumble, a tone of voice she held in most situations. Demesne was a San'layn, and hence her race, her speciality was Blood. "We offer you to take the place as... Princess of Blood. Bearer of the crimson life."
This was all new to Demesne, but when she heard the word blood, she was not hesitant to investigate. "Blood?"
"Indeed, deary." Lithera whispered darkly.
Church in Silvermoon! (Or Something Like It)
((Hello all, I was going to just start this last night, but I thought I would put it out there for discussion first. After all, we have a number of events during the week - we have raid times of course, but we also have Fancy Cakes, Laughing Zhevra, and the occassional Singing Circle and Bardic Compiliation nights.
I'd hardly be a proper Priestess without the preaching.
I was going to start by having an impromptu seminar last night after Fancy Cakes closed (figuring that there'd be a bunch of lingering people about) but I just wasn't feeling it. I plan on seminars not lasting long - after all, no one wants to stand around and listen to someone prattle on in text for an hour. But these seminars go into the Holy Light and its teachings, what the Church in Silvermoon believes (which I'm trying to mold slightly into a different "Church" than Stormwind since according to them we're heretics anyways >:op). They'll also be a place for discuss
History in The Making: A Meeting of Magi

None of Sherinne Redbrook’s reading had prepared her for the actual sight of Silvermoon City’s white stone walls. In the light of the setting sun, they were painted a rosy pink, and the impossibly smooth surface stretched out as far as her eyes could follow in either direction. Behind those seemingly impenetrable walls jutted spiraling towers that even her own Dalaran skyline couldn’t match in grandeur. She’d thought herself worldly up to this point. Nearly a decade apprenticed to a well-reputed group of Kirin Tor researchers was no small boast, but she could count on one hand the number of humans that had been allowed this close to the city, even among the most powerful wizards.
Show of Normalcy
((Aelberyn offered an open invitation to anyone to post their part in her wedding. Even though Pavi is new to the server and Haven this is my contribution. I may post more.. what she did at the actual wedding... later. Thanks Aelberyn for the opportunity.))
I walked through the ruined section of Silvermoon City noting the evidence of someone’s well meaning attempt to restore the area. Scaffolding lined the buildings still standing and workers labored to cart away rocks and other debris. It was a little surprising to find the townhouse my family had used when father had court business still standing… mostly…
Quest: Lady’s Liberation – Encrypted Message
Silent Fox rose well before sunrise to hunt. The stillness before dawn in Eversong brought about the best game to hunt. She wanted to make sure Dimetri had enough food for his journey south and a little extra to bring to Elishichi in case she was back home working at her loom. She left him with several wild birds and a few more rabbits as well as what she had left of bandages for redressing his wounds. She also left him with a variety of potions she had taken the time to mix the day before while he trimmed and sunned his hair after they had worked out their plan to aid the Lady Moriurya. By the time the sun rose, she was well on her way towards Silvermoon City to deliver Dimetri’s encrypted message.
Dissillusionment; or, How Heroes Fall
((It's crazy, since I've returned there's been more RP than I saw before I left! Anyways, I know many who were present are curious, and the conversation was pretty great, so yay RP drama - pretty much quoted directly from chat with a few more details added for style...))
Once Aelberyn Bloodsword, Baroness and Priestess of the Holy Light, got over the initial shock of being so publically and thoroughly kissed by Convocate Sebastien Kerwin, she almost allowed herself the pleasure of simply enjoying his firm lips languidly molding hers and the sensual, confident way he held her so securely. Almost.
Silvermoon: An Old Acquaintance
Silent Fox parted ways with the young mage she had escorted at the city gates. She watched Elishichi enter Shepherd’s Gate safely and then made her own way to Falconwing Square since she wasn’t entirely sure she would be able to enter the city without being recognized by the gate guards. A little ways past Falconwing Square, she found the hidden hole behind the bushes and beneath the tree where a small tunnel went under the wall and into a ruined part of the city bordering the bazaar. There were numerous inconspicuous little ways into the bazaar from this area and this was how she got in and out of the city safely.

Zaraek listened to Zen’s hooves clomping along the path back to Silvermoon and willed the rhythm of his heart to slow, to come in synch with that peaceful, steady beat.
For a Time
Silvermoon City; the decently restored home of the Sin'dorei. Some would see the place as pormiscuous while others stand firm on their belief that it is the most powerful city of Azeroth. What all seem to notice and recognize is that the rebuilt city is almost too perfect in structure and grandure ... that the race that owned the city were almost as beautiful and stood just as proud.
The Rising Sun Lounge; a social bar open ever Thursday evening in Silvermoon City. The establishment has had a few owners in it's time, having started about two years ago. There location in the southern part of the Royal Exchange is suitable for all members of the Horde with seating a-plenty and conversation galore. Not many can resist it's people watching and free booze.

55 Words- The Knights
I am not like you.
I feel sorry for the victims of the law I enforce.
You- you are gleeful as you slash and burn and ruin, and it makes my heart ache.
I see the lives you ruin with your fire and your steel and your bone sword.
I will not be like you.

Without Effort
The city bustled outside the open doors of the smithy, people of diverse races, classes and professions hurrying to do tasks that were important to them if not to the rest of the world; inside the room was sweltering. Ediondra brushed the back of her hand across her forehead, realizing as she did so that she left a trail of soot on her alabaster skin. She brought the hammer down on the sheet of red hot metal as sparks flew into the air to settle on her tunic, burning small holes in the fabric before winking out of existence. The clang of the hammer on metal was a monotonous drone she’d grown used to and sometimes found comfort in.
Freedom Rally? Event Idea
Just an idea for a meeting/rally/protest roleplay event.
The government of Silvermoon is painfully corrupt. So why don't the people revolt? The idea I've had is: what happens when they do?
The date isn't set yet, but there's a place for every kind of person in the rally.
