RPH Naming Policy
We're very happy to have so many new folks taking an interest in RPH. Welcome. However, there is one of our short list of policies that I need to bring to everyone's attention, account naming. RPH policy is that all new accounts tie to in game characters on ShC (Shadow Council)... (more after the break)
Group Policy Change: No Opt in at Registration
You may or may not have noticed all the group entries in the tracker. Those among you who are group administrators likely have recieved messages of late as spammers signed up for accounts here on Haven. This is because they could join your groups at the time of account creation. While we can't keep them off the site completely, we can keep them out of your hair. So what I've been doing for the last hour or so has been to remove the "add group to registration form" settings on your groups. There should be no other functionality change. Members of the site will still be able to join your group with exactly the same features. They simply won't be able to do it at the time of account creation. Report any problems these changes cause you and we will do our best to address them. Thanks for your consideration.
RP Server Policies
(( Not everyone knows what Blizzard's RP server policies are, so it occurred to me that it might be useful to provide links to a few policies with which anyone playing on an RP server ought to be familiar.

About an hour ago, I happened to wander across some undead having a conversation about Ventrilo in /say. This is, of course, against server policy, so I whispered to them that Blizzard's server policy requires that /say and /yell be used for in-character conversation only.
The Golden Leaf: The Blacklist...

This is a transfer of the existing list to this new site. The black list is an ignore list for Leaf staff to use. The primary post of this thread will be updated to reflect any changes. Blacklist nominations can be added in the comments, where they can be discussed publicly among the staff. All Leaf personel are encouraged to abide by the List, so as to put a unified face on the Leaf. This is really the only power we have folks, so don't diminish it by undercutting your fellows.
