Hello Haven Folks!

Once upon a time, for the first anniversary of our website here, the call went out for banner designs. However, our site wasn't yet properly worn in (or other things got in the way!) and the new colors and themes went to that place where Blizzard keeps the updated player models.  But now, LO! There shall be a new contest, and new banners, and new themes, and new colors to enjoy!

Sons and Daughters of the Horde,

Children’s Week is fast approaching.  In order to honor this important week and the children for which it is named, Quel’Thalas’ Department of the Interior is hosting a joust on the 8th of May, inviting the strongest fighters of the Horde to participate to honor their faction as well as compete for a prize for the most accomplished jouster!

As part of the ceremony, we ask that masters of all crafts present and honor their disciples this day as a testament to the many talents that these children can hope to master and goals they can reach!

On the main WoW website the other day, I saw an announcement about a new contest they're having.  You go to a website called Printwarcraft.com and use their site to create custom posters of your characters.  When you submit these concepts to the contest, you have a chance of winning some gift certificates as prizes.

I actually had quite a bit of fun using this with Mirien and created several poster concepts, though I really wish there was a little more freedom in choosing the angles of the poses as well as the selection of poses themselves.

Still, I guess part of the fun is trying to do what you can with the stuff you got.

I'm writing a book. And I need some help.

THIS is the world as it is.

THIS is the world of my story. Yes, I mainly took out all the green.

The little red dot is the large city where the main characters go for the majority of the story. Currently, it's called Drake Harbor. Crummy name, I know. 

Now. I'm offering a chance to become a minor character (two or three appearances) if you:

Wowinterface.com was running a contest that I discovered hours before the deadline. They were offering beta keys + Tyrael pets for 20 winners for their comic contest. The rules of the contest were fairly straightforward. Make a comic about warcraft, addons, and wowinterface.com. This is my AMAZING CREATION. Some may notice that I was able to use the same image in all 11 panels: This is because I rock, not because I am lazy and/or was rushing in any way, shape, or form.
