OFFICER’S REPORT (FILE COPY)
Case #: 481516
Reporting: Sir Sidoran Sunlash, Chief Security Officer of the Legion

(p.1) Regarding the Sexual Assault and Aggravated Harassment of Rhosyn (hereafter referred to as “the Victim”),

I interviewed the Victim early on the morning of 26/4. The statement she gave, paraphrased here due to technical difficulties with the recording equipment, was initially very similar to the statement given to Convocate Sebastien Kerwin (File Missing) and coincides with the report from Doctor Jakobus Nachtengaal (File Attached). New developments are detailed from Paragraph 3 onward, with notes included for the benefit of fellow investigators.

There is no balance, no equality

Your face appears again, I see the beauty there
But I see danger, stranger beware
A circumstance in your naked dreams
Your affection is not what it seems

My fantasy has turned to madness
All my goodness has turned to badness
My need to possess you has consumed my soul
My life is trembling, I have no control

I will have you, yes I will have you
I will find a way and I will have you
Like a butterfly, a wild butterfly
I will collect you and capture you

In a Goldshire Alley

Goldshire's sun was setting, the peaked houses casting long shadows over the dusty town square. Outside the Lion's Pride, raucous voices shouted encouragement to yet another pointless wrestling match between a hulking Kal'dorei fighter and a badly scarred Draenei whose eyes betrayed him as undead. Beyond the crowd, townsfolk walked here and there, finishing their business for the day, locking up their shops, and generally either joining the crowd, entering the taproom's pleasant confines, or throwing coins at a slender girl of elven extraction dancing half nude by the signpost at the corner of the square. As parts of the town dimmed, others were just waking, and with a laugh, wooden shutters opened on a second storey of one of the larger houses, a buxom woman leaning out and calling down to the assembled men. Her beauty spot was sliding into her ample decolletage, and her hair's brilliant red was as artificial as so much of Goldshire's daily facade.

Distraction

Right, so there once was an elf. He decided to be a sailor, the good kind, not the what run around shippin' here and there because of some navy or old rich bastards, but the kind what blows the previously mentioned kind to hell and takes their goods! But he did it wrong. See he was a spy, and decided he wanted to try to outwit his friends and feed them false information. So we, the crew of Captain Flynt, being the offended party have decided our mate, Blind Tom and some of his undead friends, ought to have a word with him, but he ran away to Old town before Tom had the chance.

Praise Not a Day Until Evening

"Your last investigation left behind a trail of bodies."  Captain Stonebrow paused and turned to glower at me.  "I don't want that happening here."

I shrugged, trying not to show the irritation I was feeling.  "Cult of the Damned folks aren't exactly cooperative when you confront them."

His frown deepened, brows lowering until they almost me his long Dwarven nose.  "I don't need a witch-hunt here.  We're up to our necks trying to keep supplies running to Valgarde and I'm short handed as it is."  An aide bustled in, depositing a stack of papers on his cluttered desk.  The captain rolled his eyes and stabbed a finger at me.  "I need this cleared up as fast as possible.  Understand?"

"Understood."  I sketched a salute and turned to go.

A Tale of Vengeance: Attack on Auberdine

Vengeance. It was this word that Senoj Ragetotem focused upon as he spurred his frostwolf, Kyanna, faster. The abnormally large frostwolf howled, sensing her partner's rage and blood lust and ran even faster than before, hurtling along the shore of Darkshore towards the Kaldorei town of Auberdine. Senoj thought back to where his rage had sprung. It had been form a unlikely place. Had he been told that morning he wquld be attacking Auberdine later that night, he would have laughed at the person and asked them why he would be attacking such a small and remote town.

Confrontation in the Cathedral

Niviene sat in front of the mirror eyeing the lump at her left temple and the large  bruise that marred her skin, its dark purple hue making her look more pale than usual. No wonder everyone had shown such concern.
