[Art Commission] Rhianon
As a bit of a Christmas gift to myself, I commissioned this lovely picture of Rhia from Echo's player. It turned out beautifully. The back-drop is Stormwind at night, specifically the lake behind the Cathedral. There are a myriad of little details in the picture that really make it amazing - the waterfall in the distance, the outline of the rooftops of Stormwind, the Draenei tail/tendril bangles, etc.
Tairis - Art Commission
After seeing the awesome pictures of Luck that Echo painted, I put in for a commission of Tairis (and her cat!). The results were even better than I had hoped for, and my hopes were pretty high! Behind the break you can enjoy it too :-)
Just getting back on the horse
As some pepole might have noticed, I haven't been in game for a while. Real Life reared it's head rather suddenly and the whole family has been trying to roll with the punches for the past few months. I've been turtling in my home as a way to cope and recently have been getting out of that shell. While most of the art I've done recently won't ever be posted; some of it I'd like to share since it's been working on WOW ideas that have made me realize that so much time has past and I've barely been in contact with a handful of people in game. You guys know who you are and thank you for the quiet support, you have no idea how much it helped. I keep saying I will be back and I do mean it.
The Ghost Scions: Flamefist
“Kids these days,” Echo muttered, wincing as Credence gently lifted her foot to her shoulder and leaned forward slightly, hands pulling back at the muscles of her thigh. Echo’s knee gave a sad little creak and burned, the pain ebbing back as Credence loosened her hold and gently lowered the limb to the bedspread. Echo let out a few breaths before she opened her eyes again.
“That’s better,” she sighed, as strained muscles and tendons relaxed after the stretch. “Just... just wait a minute before you do the other one.”
Stolen Moment
The knife glides of its own volition
along her throat
Soft skin, pliant flesh, steady thrum of blood echoing
a lullaby…
the constant beat marking each moment even as
I mark her
she marks me
Sharp nails press between my scars
Pain.
Pleasure.
Always the same
Then knife back to palette
captures a moment, bliss.
Character Bust Commissions!
Ladies and Gentlebeans, I've decided to open up commisions! Info below the break~

[Art] Experimenting with Colored Line-art!
So I was chatting with Echo in comments on a social networking site about colored line art and I figured, "Why not give it a shot!" I fell in love. Product below the cut!
Huntress in the forest
(( Been playing with my new programs this week and this is one of the better pieces (in my mind) of the character avatars I've been creating. Feel free to comment or critique, I'm still tweaking this image of Lars and her first night sabre, Pittch. Right now, her clothes remind of when I was first leveling her in Darkshore. Things barely matched and it was all pieced together. XD The new Avatar is a sneak peak.))
Sculptris - Free 3D Sculpting Tool

Figured I would relay this link to folks. Sculptris is a simple, intuitive sculpting application that Pixologic acquired and makes available for free (at least at the moment).
The Ghost Scions: Baharroth
Timothy, the black fox, took a white-tipped ear in his mouth and growled. The owner of the ear, a long, golden cat stretched out on the houseboat deck in the sun, rolled slowly over, loose spotted coat flowing after the initial torsion, big white paw lifting to spread toes across the fox's cheek. Echo smiled at the lazy feline and poked Timothy with the toe of her boot on the cat's behalf, though her interference did little more than motivate the fox to switch ears. The two animals curled into a playful, harmless wrestle, Whistler the parrot hopping to and fro around them, bobbing his head and spreading his wings like some kind of mad referee.
References, Originality, Honesty, and You
Before I begin, I want to make two points:
The Defense of His Kingdom

He had defended his kingdom from intruders before, and the time had come to do it again.
The Ghost Scions: Exarch Triktaal

"Going north, you said?" Credence asked, lifting the green-and-blue bracers from the table and handing them to Echo, a note of curiosity in her eyes.
"Not that far north," Echo answered, with a soothing smile. "Not that far, hopefully ever again. Just up into Quel'thalas, to deal with the Amani. Haven't been up there, myself, but most of the Scions have been. You know, I don't think I've dealt with trolls before - at least not a whole tribe, not like this. Should be interesting."
The Ghost Scions: Verisimi Ironoak-Sharpaxe

"I always feel better when there's a dwarf around," Echo said, sitting back in her chair after swallowing a particularly refreshing mouthful of ale. Decompressing with Credence on Friday nights had become a cherished routine: a light supper on the table, plenty of ale, and a patient smile accompanying a listening ear. Her sooty armor hung on its rack, far enough away that the scent of creosote didn't tingle their noses, and her bare feet rested in Credence's lap. As those kind fingers worked the tension from her toes, the ale tempted further musings from her lips.
