((Yora is showing this picture to everyone he sees. In the major cities, small towns, even to people who pass him on the road, so much as they don't attack him.))
I dinnae need tae know if ye think I'm crazy're if ye dinnae care, jest tell me if ye saw this anywhere. I ain't an artist so it ain't pretty, but it should get tha point across. Tha sword glows, if'n it 'elps ye any. Tha back bits are forest, tae, but well, I drew maps all my life, nothin' like this.
The old dwarf thrusts the parchment in your face as if it were the most important thing in the world.

So tell me, ye e'er seen anythin' like this?

"Yeah, I've seen it. Don' worry. He's on my list."

Something like that... in the elf forests. It is a very... bad... thing... I think?

From a vision-tale of long ago...
"Yes... yes, I've seen that before." Soryne sighs. "Light, yes. I wasn't there, but...
It was a rainy night. I was stuck up in some musty tavern in Tirisfal with a quarter of my regiment. The other Rabbits, they were somewhere out in the forest, but no one knew where they were... Tristan, my fiancee, was with them and I was so scared... There were some other guests in the tavern, and one of them was a- a mage. He offered... entertainment. We accepted, and he, he called up a- a hologram, a vision-tale, he called it.
None of us were there, but we all knew the tale. We ALL knew the tale, the attack on Quel'Thalas.
And that- there was a scene just like that- when the Death Knight Arthas- he, he, when he stabbed the Ranger-General with his runeblade Frostmourne.
I don't know if that's what you drew, but that-that... it's just what it reminds me of.
Go in the Light," Soryne makes the signal of the Hand of Salvation, "and don't- don't show anyone around here that. Tensions run high here, and it'd be best if you leave."
((EDIT: Translation- It reminds me of the Lament of the Highbourne machinima, when Arthas stabs Sylvanas.))

Aye aye, Darkshore. With the dryad girl and the cultists. Southern end, I think, but I am nae good with maps, yeh know. But it looks like that area in Darkshore the grove fellow sends yeh to.
((OMG, that's it! Duh.

Tess looks over the parchment for a moment then shrugs. "I'm afraid not Yora, I've seen a lot of glowing swords in my life too, but if I had to take a wild guess, I'd say it was a runeblade belonging to a death knight." She goes back to sipping her tea.

"There is a story, a
"There is a story, a history rather, behind that thing. It is said to be a long dead Old God, stabbed by one of the Titans and it's adamantine sword was left in the skull. Why a Titan would leave such a powerful sword behind is a mystery to me and to any that I have talked to. I have a therory that it is keeping it from coming back and hurting us once more, but then why didn't the Titans just get rid of all the Old Gods?" She sighs and shakes her head. "There is nothing in any books that I can find about it. Might want to talk to a Kaldorei about the details."
The kaldorei appears
The kaldorei appears nonplussed at being addressed at all, let alone having parchment thrust at her. After a moment she blinks rapidly and focuses on the paper.
"This drawing," she says in heavily accented common, "it looks like a place I just investigated. It is a sacred place to my people, though a cult that worships the old gods currently inhabits it. One of our Ancients believes they attempt to revive the creature," she points at the skull and traces the tentacles with her finger, "with corrupted elven magic."
She turns her gaze from the drawing and eyes the dwarf with suspicion. "I could lead you there, but first... why do you seek this place?"

On yer list? Seen it? Lad, 'e looks pretty dead tae me...
Aye, it's bad, real bad, I'm thinkin'. Elf forests, aye? Well, that rules out a lotta places, at least.
Aye, I 'eard a that sorta thin', nay what I'm lookin' at, but I know about what 'appened tae yer people, much as a lotta tha alliance seems tae ignore it all. Old allaiances seem tae die a lot faster'n new ones are e'er forged, eh?
I'll keep my 'ead low, though, jest tae be safe.
The old dwarf bows slightly and tugs his hat just a bit further over his eyes.
Darkshore?! Aye! Good! Well, nay good, I mean it gives me a place tae start though! Cultists though? Wait, what... kinda cultists? Dae ye know what they're wearin' or anythin' like that?
Aye, must be a giant death knight, at least, an' one real old. Thin' I saw musta bin at least fifteen times my 'eight.
Aye? Old god? That's gettin' me somewhere, an' nay somewhere I like. Near I learned myself is that tha Old gods could nay really be gotten rid a' without reforgin' tha 'ole world or some such. Apparently their corruptin' influence spread around all o'er tha place. I dinnae really kin tell tha stories now though. I'm runnin' on real li'l sleep fer tha last few days. Still, that's e'en better'n what I'm gettin'. Jest gotta get some more on where't'is.
Aye, I keep 'earin' about this cult, which is worryin'. Revive it though, that seems weird. I'm always 'earin' tha fella say that revivin' it'd be a real bad thin'. Causin' all sorts'a "variables" or somesuch. But ye know where it is?
An' are ye sure ye wanna know why I seek this place? I'm bein' called crazy by a lotta people an' senile by tha ones that ain't callin' me crazy. Senile's jest polite fer "crazy'n old" though.

One would have to be not right in the head to willingly serve as a pawn of the Old Gods; a lot of the Twilight's Hammer's plans in our lands are 'real bad things'. Summoning elemental lords, sacrifices to the beast of Blackfathom Deeps, attempting to raise what the Titans laid low.
So yes, I do want to know why you wish to find this place. Are you crazy like the members of the Twilight's Hammer or are you crazy like the members of the Explorer's League? It makes all the difference in the world.
Zheke blinks at the dwarf.
Zheke blinks at the dwarf. "It looks like something I saw in my youth... the illumination in an ancient tome, I think."Zheke half closes his eyes in concentration. "It went with a prophecy, I think... In the days before the creation of the world, there was a great battle between the gods and demons of the ancient world. The gods sealed away the ancient demons, sealing their prisons with blades of light and magic. At the end of all things, the seals will be undone, and the demons will pour forth from their prisons to again battle the gods. The gods will destroy them and remake the world. Then, the gods will call their faithful from across all ages to them, and the the faithful will live with the gods together in paradise."
Zheke starts slightly, realizing the dwarf is there. "You say it is a real place, as in on Azeroth? Probably it would be on Kalimdor, the world is more ancient, and more unchanged there... seek out the Children of the Moon, the should know more."
Heulwen fails to understand
Heulwen fails to understand a word of Yora's Dwarvish, but takes the piece of parchment held out to her. She squints at it for a moment then shoves it roughly back at the stumpy guy.
"NO I DO NOT WISH TO BUY YOUR TENTACLE AND THRUSTING SEX TOY DIRTY BOOK........GO AWAY BEFORE I ROLL YOU DOWN THE NEAREST HILL IN A BARREL"
She stalks off, muttering under her breath.
