OOC- Post and bump! Roleplayers represent!
Yesterday a group of players and myself 'held' the streets of Dalaran for two hours or thereabouts with a simple, enjoyable, and casual roleplayed conversation. Many joined in whom I've never met or seen before. It was unscripted and fun, and I feel it made roleplay blatantly public. We all do things like this. Events like the Zhevra, the Leaf, Fancy Cakes.. I give complete credit and nods to, but the value of immersive inworld random all-welcome RP is absolutely huge, and goes a wonderful way to demonstrating to all nay-sayers that RP is far from 'dead' on Shadow Council, and moreover, that anyone can join in with a RPed scene, or simply enjoy it as they do their daily tasks. I got a number of whispers from people who exclaimed in surprise to see such public /say roleplay in a commonly assumed non RP capital.
Post your own versions of similar events. Let's make a roleplayer's progression thread to match the raiding one. I'd say the boss 'Apathy' roleplayers fight is as nasty as the Scourge some days, but where there's a will there's a way!

((As one of the people involved in this RP, I had a blast with it, and it gave me all sorts of warm fuzzies that we had other people randomly walk up and join in the RP. It was delightful and wonderfully spontaneous. I genuinely hope that more people start doing things like this on the server in cities like Dalaran, to prove to all the PVErs out there that RP isn't dead and that they are on an RP server!))
