How To Get to White Hart Tavern (UPDATED: 01/24/08)
The White Hart Tavern is a text based Cross-Faction friendly roleplay event that happens Monday nights starting at 7PM Server Time and often going well past 10PM. We have a regular crowd, but we're ALWAYS excited to see more faces (ESPECIALLY YOU ALLIANCE!). Lately I've had a few people ask me how to use Pidgin, the text program we use, to come to White Hart. I made one of these with GAIM, the old program, when I first started the event but GAIM works a little different. So here is the Pidgin Version. Now stop asking and come RP! :)
PLEASE BE AWARE THIS ERROR IS COMMON and is MOST OFTEN the place where people get hung up and confused. Just keep trying variations, and eventually one will work!

OK, looking at how to make
OK, looking at how to make an account, it pretty much is exactly the same as what is described here (I even took my own screenshots to compare). The big difference comes in at step 3, as the "Register" button no longer exists.
You check the "Create Account on this server" box and DO press "Save". Then you should get a pop-up box that asks you to register the new account. After that, the steps are the same as what are described above.
If you get an error, it just needs fiddled with a little to let one in. I've gotten them before trying to create an account using Linnadia, but this time following the new account process worked smoothly for me.
