A Sudden Urge to Play My Rogue...

In case someone out there has NOT seen this incredibly impressive video yet, here it is.
Not everyone is a fan of the music selection, but I kinda like it. The other sound effects are well done, the animation is amazing, the characters (Shaw, Prestor, the guards, and the Assassin) very well rendered.
Hope this guy does more!

I believe the rogues are
I believe the rogues are nameless rogues - it isn't supposed to be Shaw from what I've read on Percula's comments. But on to something I've been wanting to say...
For those who are dissing the music, aaaaaah!
It is definitely not something I would have listened to on my own. The first time I watched the video and listened to the soundtrack I was cringing, until I got caught up in the awesome animation. The second and third time I watched it though, I started to notice things.
Such as how the running footsteps match the drum beats.
Such as how the horn-blower moves to the actual horn sounds in the song. His trumpet dips at the appropriate moments etc.
Such as how the bodies hit the floor and bounce and roll with the drumbeat and music crescendos.
It's not accidental. It's deliberately set to do this. This video is heavily choreographed to go with the music. It's excellent on its own merit of animation and sound effect - yes, but a great deal of the heart pumping gogogogogogo umph that is in this video is because everything moves with the music.
It is frustrating at times to see people just out of hand completely diss the music. It's not my thing personally but this video would not be this video without the music, and it definitely does NOT ruin it.
Caveat: Not saying anyone here has said that but I wanted to say that because I've been wanting to yell it at everyone dissing it!
And I have developed some sort of odd, weird, unhealthy lust-fetish for the male rogue. It's annoying because it's pixels and wtf? I'm lusting after pixels? I've finally decided it's the character - I think over the possible stories that this character exists in and as a character, I've fallen in love with what could be.

That was actually something I had noticed about halfway through was that the rythmn and speed of the actions were in time with the music. And as many have said, it's not exactly something I would listen to in my free time, but it was centrivical to the piece and it would not have had the same feel without it.

I've had this song stuck in my head since watching this video the first time. It's a fun song. And the choreography with the animation here really is perfectly done. While I first expected something comical to follow with the initial change at the beginning, the song really gerw on me about partway through as I noticed what you mean here.
