What are your plans for Cataclysm?

I don't know yet, honestly.  Might be swapping back to warrior Elrin due to 1 handed fury+heroic leap finally being in the game...

Might stay Death Knight...still waiting for more information.

Probably will end up rolling a Goblin rogue and a worgen...something...

((Archaeolgy is still going to be there, it just wont be associated with Path of the Titans and more of a Lore/rewards proffession. If anything i'm simply extremely happy that there will be a lore aspect to it. And those that explore will find out more about Azeroth.

I'm really looking forward to all the new changes and content. It's just massively exciting.

For my gang, Artisania, Ineesa and Tavlo will be leveled as they are - Tavlo as a protection warrior who sometimes likes to swing incredibly large weapons around, and Ineesa as a Holy priest who will smite you if she has to.  Artie is going to totally flip out with everything going on and I look so forward to questing the heck out of the altered zones on her.

Tavvy, the current version of my raiding-main hunter (as Tavlo ICly), will be recustomized into human hunter Echö, who I've been writing for and RPing the past couple months.  My hopes are that she'll be a fully realized character with connections to others and a place in the world by the time Cata hits.

I'm planning on bringing Liesle (if anyone remembers her) back as a worgen rogue, and have plans for a brash, all-business goblin warrior gal. I'm not going to worry too much about them though and wait for the crazy rush for new races to die down before I create and level them.

Lastly, Lorith will be reincarnated in the form of a shaman. I'm still not sure how much she'll still be the Lorith we all knew and loved, but SHE'LL BE BACK.

My lovely worgen warrior, Aetvan Skaldir, is currently... well, currently being place-held. Sadness. Once a bed-ridden victim of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (AKA "I don't know why you can't breathe right"), she's now rather glad to be a worgen, seeing as it makes her... well, able to breathe.

And maybe a human  hunter. Gotta love me some tall, fleshy pink with a gun. Oh, wait, that's how I spent this weekend. (Kidding! Mostly.)

New Character will be a Worgen Druid (I've posted as her here by the name of Yasharia, although in game she will be known by her last name of Gladstone).  As for existing characters, I don't really know if they'll change at all.  I guess I'll have to see how they react to the Cataclysm.

Lilly will be dealing with things quietly with her family, though Gray does have some plans which I'm just going to roll with at this time. :)

I'm debating on what to do with Larosa, I can either kill her off or keep her around to explore the Mount Hyjal area.  I would love to have her in Ashenvale/Darkshore when it actually hits, but I know if I ever killed her off I would want it to be back in time in the mount Hyjal instance, which could be gone with Cata. So I have some choices to make with her, but deleting her would not be possible. She's my very first toon on the server and took 5 years to get her to 80.

Meladenya, my gnome warlock, might be remade into a priest. Just depends on how I feel and how RP goes.

All my other toons I still am trying to figure out. ))

I wanna make a goblin based off the goblin techies from DoTA. She'll be a sapper, but as a bonus, she's also a shaman and can reincarnate after she blows herself up! Yay.

As for Hakka, I think you all know.. if not then you'll have to wait  ;)

As for my people, Cerwis will become a Huntress! I'll be race changing my Draenei Hunter into a Human and my Human Warrior into a Draenei. So, we'll have Cerwis the Hunter and Raksasha the Warrior. GOOD TIMES ALL AROUND. (Maybe Cerwis and Reggie will finally get married, too...)

I might have my DK finally die in the Cataclysm, I don't know yet. Maybe my Warlock too.

Ace and Reggie will continue on as they are. 

As for my new guys, we've got Wendela the Worgen Priest, Konstanze the Worgen Rogue, and ??? the Worgen Druid in the works.  I'm hoping to snag the name Haidee for my Dwarven Shaman, because Haidee Slatequarry just sounds cute.

Lormar won't survive the Cataclysm and the toon will likely end up a glorified banker/gatherer alt. His story's done and I suck at Rogue.

My currently lowbie Draenei Hunter will become a Human; whether by the eventual race change or reroll I haven't decided yet. I've always wanted a Human hunter, and so Lirriel's mother will be coming out of retirement when her BFF dies.

Lirriel, Daevra, and Alynore will have some awesome stuff to react to. For Draenei, I can imagine some bad flashbacks happening. For the Humans, based so heavily in Stormwind, it'll bring some major changes.

I'll likely make a Goblin to see the starting zone and that's it. I'll keep leveling Dustweaver to see quests, when I have time/inclination.

I have vague plans for a Worgen Druid like so many others; I've never been able to level a NE one, and my Tauren is a shaman, so.

I've been culling back alts to deal with burnout and to not overwhelm myself in Cata; Unlike a lot of folks, I'm not able to do the massive stable of alts that I cycle through and keep up storylines and RP for, let alone level and gear. Besides, by the time Cata rolls around, I'll be in Grad School, so double time crunch!

I dunno which of my toons will die/fade into obscurity when Cata occurs, but I am intending on at least two new PCs.

1.) Worgen, Gilnean nobleman, I don't know what class yet.  Basically a fuzzier version of Seb with less Ponce and more grimdark.

2.) Blood Elf Warrior.  I play too many Kerwins to let a chance pass me by - and I'll just leave it that vague.

Goblin Rapper: Reezy. The trade cartels are going to get monopolized by a beatboxing showman. Expect 24s and new dubz on every mount.

Have a worgen druid planned at as well, but that's about it.

As for storylines, it kind of depends on what happens in the story.  I'm certain that Aelberyn will do what she can to strengthen whatever remains of Silvermoon, and I'm sure Zelenthe will kill lots of people.  I intend on making at least one goblin - possibly a hunter, who's pets are going to be named things like "KittySquig" "CrabbySquig" and "PiggySquig"

My worgen is going to be mentally challenged. Bertulf (Bert, for those that get to know him) will only be capable of hitting things with blunt objects, thus, a warrior. Came up with his idea when there was that hunter bug where you could tame the worgen model and it would follow you around all cute-like. He speaks mostly in gestures.

My gobby doesn't have a name yet, but he'll be paranoid banker/entrepeneur mage who uses his arcane abilities only to flit about the globe as fast as his portals can take him. Have to keep an eye on those investments!

Rhosy will likely die and be replaced, oh so mysteriously, by a holy COW.

Hannalore and her twin brother Victor Heinlein Halig will be making their mark in the world, starting from Gilneas.

Dame Dixie Daggersnatch, reknowned Goblin burlesque performer, will also be touring to assist in improving morale of Azeroth's heroes.

And there you have it. Vague Cataclysm plans.

(( I'll be playing the heck out of a gnomish priest, as it gives the race two things I've desperately wanted for years:

1) Healing.  I've wanted to play this party role so much, but never got into other races enough to try.

2) The ability to make something semi-similar to the Coercer class in Everquest II, with a fun/non-traditional spec built around mind control and other mental spells.

Mary will be dual specced and have both of the above.

Several of my current characters will be hugely affected by the world events.  The elemental insurgence and ability to visit the Elemental Plane will be an amazing experience for Maggie, and her ongoing war with Ragnaros will be taken to a new level.  Rabbly will have her anti-dragon sentiment further agitated by an Aspect blowing up much of the world (and her current house, and her parents' house).  Mag will be intrigued by a discovery in the sands of Kalimdor and deeply worried about the return of a certain major lore figure.  Saphrona will be desperately trying to find out what happened to her father, who has been held prisoner by the goblins of Kezan for years.  Lineah's distaste for dark magic users will have her at odds with the Twilight cultists for certain.

And of course, every character of mine will be strongly impacted by the reclamation of Gnomeregan.  Heck, Diana might even be able to retire from her (ahem) profession, with much of the race under one roof again.

Currently I have no plans to permanently kill off any of my characters, though at least one character will go MIA and presumed dead for a while.  Not going to say who just yet, though. :) ))

I've been flirting with the idea of making Olaff into a worgen but I haven't really decided on it yet.  I'm loving the whole rogue thing though so I'll stick with that for when the expansion hits.  Maybe get some cool Gilnean threads and one of those top-hats.  I'm a little bummed that they scrapped the Path of the Titans thing as I was looking forward to putting that into the story, but with archaeology I'm sure there's still ways to do certain things.

Karamazov I've all but retired as a character.  His story has been told, and although I regret no longer being able to make those comics, I'm pretty happy with the ones I did make.  For now he's more or less a placeholder level 80 warrior with Ulduar shit that I may or may not make into something else.  Goblin or Orc maybe.  Eh.

Matador I'm looking to sell all of my stuff, transfer the money over to a different character, and delete.  I don't know what it is about being a hunter but I'm not liking it, so he's a useless 71 blood elf.

Arkoros I haven't decided yet.  I made the character into a Draenei on a whim with some kind of so-so RP strings attached that at the moment I'm feeling just a bit iffy about.  Maybe he'll hop back on board the mothership and gtfo for greener pastures and I'll race-change into something else.

All in all, my play time will likely be severely restricted once again in a few weeks for a very long time so having more than one or two characters just aint a happening thing either way.

I'll continue leveling Dimssy since I doubt she'll be 80 by the time Cata hits (you never know though).  Gnomish priest, Cortlan Hobsprocket will come out of the shadows after working with some Night Elf prietesses in the past, learning their skills in secret. 

Timory my Worgen (rogue?) will continue struggling with being alive again in this...2nd reincarnation she's been through. There's going to be a Goblin Shaman, Rowdie, and a Tauren paladin yet to be named.  Hopefully by the time of release I'll be back down to working one job and having more play time.

Neun will probably be leveled to 85, but without a solid guild or group to raid with, most likely won't be raiding or seeing much end game content.  She's also semi-retired RPly for now, if I get any ideas however, I may start writing for her again.

I actually decided to race change my rogue to a worgen since her henchmanning days are over and there's no point in levelling another rogue, no matter how much I may enjoy the class. Inspired by Gangs of New York, I created <The Bloody Mutts> last night for displaced low-middle class Gilnean nationalists of flexible morality. (Drop me a line if you're interested!)

Anka had been getting comfortable staying in Stormwind but may have to get out and about again because her home is being obliterated.

Saangwyn's past will catch up to her, and she will die at the hands of someone seeking revenge for her lapse of sanity. I just haven't decided if I'm going ot race change her to a human hunter, an undead hunter,or a worgen hunter. I'm leaning worgen, as I could finally play My Huntress (years of playing a Black Fury Ahroun Archer in WoD setting), but may just want to roll out a lowbie worgen all the way. Torn, torn torn.

Cyrcae will have enumerable more war-torn children to care for an influence, and more ties to the whole of Creation to explore. (Eonar -> Demeter -> Earth-Mother, whee!)

(( Though I am back and forth on it, I believe I will be trying the Night Elf mage; so much lovely lore to weave around with that one and I enjoy a challenging character. I might enjoy making my Blood-Elf switch over with a lot of magical persuasion (how else do you explain a race-change but have the same character and story? I don't want to kill her, I like her too much). It will certainly be interesting.

I need to make both a worgen and goblin just to see how they start out, but I do not know if those will be made on this server or if I would even continue them. Goblin is going to be a shaman because I do not have one of those. The worgen will most likely be a warlock for the same reason. ))

I'll be recycling my Ko-ii toon to make a forsaken hunter, and rolling a troll druid, but other than that I haven't thought about it ^_^ I think I'll level Ryo through the new content, though, since he's kinda languishing in the 20s at the moment >_<

Kicking around the idea of turning Graysen into a worgen, but the eternal struggle: keep him as just a man (or as close to just a man as possible), or make him more special.

No real thoughts otherwise.  Although I'm definitely planning on playing with the new races.

Thinking of changing my focus from Derkhan the repressed Pally to Geddian the Sly Nefarious Mage or Corwi the footloose hunter.  

I was hoping the guild leveling changes would mix things up and put some life in things.  Although it sounds like Blizzard is dialing back a lot of things they talked about.   I will check out the new race starting content.  I am glad for the overall concept resetting Azeroth proper and will likely level a new character just to do it.

Akiri may get doubled up as a Night Elf mage as well. I wish there was something more reliable than pygmy oil to shrink her down as a Night Elf.

Animos may return due to the changes in fury that will make it fun again, but with the Lich King dead, his crusade is pretty much at an end.

Melitza is really going to get into the events surrounding the cataclysm since she is very tightly bound to Azeroth now.

I may transfer my druid over from my PvP server and make it a Worgen... possibly a Troll. I cant decide.

I tried playing a goblin, but I can't bring myself to play any character unless they have some sort of personality. It's just not fun if it's me driving an avatar on a screen. I guess this is why I'm on an RP server. I'll have to come up with something and give it another shot.

Well, let's see.

Ythgar Vinguld the DK will stay as-is, likely going hog wild over the changes to Lordaeron and its restoration.

Aktarin frankly hasn't been enthusing me for ages, but she is as she is. She'll probably punch stuff in Cata, kill Horde, etc.

Mlakazar is like Karamazov kind of retired as far as major story goes - I am always IC with her, and I love PvPing on her, so I'll keep doing those things, but storywise, she has a man she loves, a son she's raising, and that's what makes life good. She's pretty solidly invested in Draenor and in Karamazov.

Gyrithrea is my barbie alt for gorgeous druid gear. I might consider levelling her up with the changes to the druid class - I love it in terms of lore.

Samai is my inscription/gemcutting alt, and I don't have any plans to level her at all.

Kaazari stalled out a bit - no plans there, but I could get inspired and make him worgen or whatever. Iunno.

Theodric the dwarf warrior is similarly a bit stalled. I can't even count how many incarnations that poor warrior's had since Swallow got screwed over way back when.

Hugh the half orc assassin will end up cursed by the worgen curse, and learn of his Gilnean heritage as a worgen rogue come Cata.

Silence the night elf priest will continue as she's begun, and likely be a PvP toon.

Gaeleana may make a come back. Too bad I deleted her human version... I'll have to start her over again. But with her back story being that she was betrothed to a man who'd become a worgen from Pyrewood Village I can hardly pass the chance up for her to be a worgen too.

I have a tauren druid on another server that will become a troll (I hate being a cow) and an orc hunter that may become undead (as cool as an orc looks on a chopper, an undead would just be hawt).

Cata will undoubtedly kill off some of my alts, though I have decided which yet.

Rethelia will likely 'publish' the descriptions of Azeroth she's been collecting over the years, if she hasn't by that time.

I also plan to create a worgen druid called Hamah, a shifter who struggles to maintain her identity with her form- not between a girl and a beast, but rather a string of aspects pulling for some kind of cohesion or dominance.

Retiring/Dying: Eridah, killed in the Cataclysm and the Horde invasion of Ashenvale, migrating to a goblin huntress as of yet un-named; Vohlash, retired with story basically done, migrated to a worgen replacing Mizaezel, whom was from Gileanas in her original concept.

That's really it for my plans at the moment The rest of my folks will be adapting to the changes as best they're capable of.

I imagine she, Melidane and dante won't change much, though dante might be knocked into simply rp npc type status (i hate lvling priests)

Naverin, Melidane's sister is going to catch worgen disease :) becoming a rough around the edges fuzzyversion of herself

I'm not going to miss out on all the new rp oportunities that will be coming with cata so im sure my need to create nine millon lats will continue

Liore's going to stay as-is likely, likely go back to his more pvp-roots.

Going to roll a worgen rogue named Sheldon Zirlstein(the toon will be Zirlstein), who is a Loan shark who enjoys the taste of his client's flesh if they don't pay up. For those who play Werewolf the apocalypse, he'll be shadowlord, through and through. My, what big teeth you have!

As most of you are probably aware, Gilneas will not be a fully fledged City like Stormwind.  Once you're done in the starter zone you won't be able to return to Gilneas until the higher levels because it's been taken over by the Forsaken.  However, Worgen will get their own place to call home, an entirely new area within.....Darnassus, not Stormwind as everyone thought.  Which makes sense given that the NEfls seem to be helping out a lot in the starter area.

That being said, losing the city of Gilneas will have dire implications for <The Greymane Guard> and will make for an interesting Story-Launch for the guild.))
