RPH Naming Policy

We're very happy to have so many new folks taking an interest in RPH. Welcome. However, there is one of our short list of policies that I need to bring to everyone's attention, account naming. RPH policy is that all new accounts tie to in game characters on ShC (Shadow Council)... (more after the break)

We do make occassional exceptions: grandfathered accounts who've moved off server and RP accounts for specific plotlines. However, to maintain a sense of transparency and to keep this a site for ShC primarily this policy was set some time ago.  If your new account doesn't fit within these guidelines (and gets noticed, not a 100% thing) you may be contacted to correct the problem. We can change your username, so it's not a major issue and shouldn't interupt your service. However, until it is resolved your account may be put in the Read Only lists and you will be unable to post. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our users and hope you can bear with us. Once again, welcome to RPH and thank you for your attention.

Addendum:

On the matter of "RP" account names, that is accounts that have first and last names or other appelations, the consensous of the moderation staff is that these names are acceptable so long as one part of the name is in fact the actual ShC in game character name. Several accounts had their names changed by me because of my previous interpretation of this ruling. If you would like to request a reversion of your user name to your previous two name form, feel free to contact myself or any other moderator of the site and they will effect the change for you.
