Honoring Alliance Towns - Darkshire

This forthcoming Friday, January 29th at seven o'clock Goblin Servo Time, the Commonwealth guild will host the second in its series of events to honor the people, contributions and history of smaller Alliance towns. This time we'll be paying tribute to the brave residents of the creepy town of Darkshire, nestled deep in the shadowy reaches of Dukswood forest!
The event will begin with a bit of mingling as people arrive, followed by a brief and informal speech about the town and its troubles by Lisa Graviton. At half past seven or thereabouts, it will be time for the first of the evening's two key events, a very special tree planting ceremony hosted by Ulais, dedicated druid and longtime member of Commonwealth. Participants will be provided with special seeds and select a location in eastern Duskwood in which to plant them. Ulais will use his life-giving magics to strengthen the young trees, bringing a bit of life and light to the Stygian wood. We'll eliminate any wandering undead we encounter along the way, as a more immediate favor to the citizens of Darkshire.
Following a short break after the tree planting ceremonies, the evening's final event will be an adventurous take on the classic game of hide and seek, popular among human children in the tenebrous town. While the specifics of the contest will be kept secret to avoid potential cheating, the winner will receive a prize of one hundred gold pieces!
From citizens to adventurers and everyone in between, all members of the Alliance are welcome. Hope to see you there!
