Tales From the Hills
Oh if I wist, when first I kissed, that love should be so ill to win,
I'd locked my heart in a cage of gold and pinned it with a silver pin.
Oh, waly, waly, love is bonny a little while when first it's new
But love grows old and waxes cold and fades away like morning dew.
-Waly, waly, trad.
Tales From the Hills is a series of stories centering around one Dame Jenet Bell, Lady of Girsonfield in a place that is definitely not Azeroth but might be the 16th century Anglo-Scottish Border, if the 16th century had working magic, faeries, meddling deities, and a few other things.

Although these tales take
Although these tales take place outside of the WoW-world, so much of the wonderfully real atmosphere could easily be applied to our RP writing, especially, perhaps, for characters coming from Lordaeron, Alterac or Arathi. I've found them very inspiring myself.
