The one thing I want to mention first and fore most, is while this is a really good starting place if you don't know anything, or want to know a little bit more about something. When it comes to 'Lore' in the warcraft world, it's a very -fluid- existance. 

Early on Blizzard didn't have a tight grip on the author's they commissioned to write for them. As such, there's various points where the lore can contradict itself... this is particularly evedent in the early novels and the pen and paper game.
