So I had this idea for arts. And since my darling husband just got me my very own first ever Wacom Tablet, I decided to play with it.
This would be what happened.
And I am so not telling who the feet belong to. You'll just have to guess. I was going to try and make it lineart, but I haven't the slightest idea how to give it that awesome clean look so many folks get.

I've heard a few similar opinions expressed, and I enjoy drawing my own character enough that my own tastes are likely pretty clear *pets own copy of the Hunger* The thing which still shocks me is that it took me 2 yrs of playing this character to realize I ought to use Bowie as his model. It fits SO perfectly that I'm just constantly happy about it.

(( I spend a lot of time on my lines, but I think your style is muuuuuch better suited to the sketchyness. It'd lose something if you do what I did, that is, go over every single inch of line with an eraser and a small-dropshadow brush to vary thickness as I go. It takes a while but the end result is quite pleasing.
Tablets are God's gift to artists. Enjoy it, I look forward to seeing more digitals stuffs from you :) ))

It's really taking a while to get used to this new tool - I'm SO used to using my mouse only for things like that Iloam art I recently posted that the sensitivity and controls of the tablet and pen are still very new. Darling husband got me a Bamboo Fun, and I'm pretty certain that I barely comprehend the basics of its functionality. I mean, it's been 12 yrs using Photoshop self taught and I'm learning new things like, every week. Still.))

((The sketchiness really lends itself to your style, don't be so quick to want smoothe lines! *lol* But if a good, crisp and clean lineart is what you're after, sketchy underdrawings are key. Then zoom in and take care to keep motions steady and smooth to line things the way you want.

Oh man, this is fab! You've had it like a week and you're already miles ahead of me. I actually love the sketchliness of it more than lineart. The pose itself IS mega-hot. You were right :-) DAMN YOU YTHGAR AND YOUR COCKY ASSURED CALMNESS!
My only tiny nit? **Feel free to stop reading here** I have a strong hunch who is meant to be in that bed, and those are really, really manly feet. For one thing, they are very flat and square, which is more masculine looking (even if a woman has those kinda feet). And size wise, compared to Ythgar's sizing, they look really large. If I didn't know your storyline to guess who they are, I'd be assuming its a male. Mebbe make them slightly smaller and a little more rounded?

I like it. Like Iloam noted, the feet do seem a bit manly. Is it Velion? :P
The only thing I wish is that I could see more of his guest's upper torso. I can't tell if I'm supposed to be able to.
I personally like the things you draw, rather than alter, a lot better. And your abilities sketching/drawing the face - especially noses - has improved exponentially. Amazingly so.
