Letter to Lady-Convocate Rosewater
((The following letter is dropped off in the early morning for delivery to Lady-Convocate Rosewater as a generalized complaint. If the guard who took the letter is questioned on the identity of the citizen, he did not get the man’s name. Description would be given as a tall, lanky Elf of mid-adult age with copper hair and freckles. The man seemed to have a brogue accent of lower class when they exchanged brief greetings. Clothing would be described as “dark”, but nothing standing out in particular to the guard’s mind))
To the Lady-Convocate Rosewater,
In the evening hours of the last day of the week (occurring yesterday), it came to my attention that Lady Faetrix Severidan was being followed closely and non-violently harassed by gentleman Hamlen and three other guards to the point that it visibly disturbed her evening. I would like to believe the politics of our city are above city officials harassing each other in such public displays. We do have a reputation to uphold as civilized people, after all.

A Concerned Citizen of SilvermoonCity

What was the nature of this
What was the nature of this non-violent harrassment?
((I like that we seem to be having more and more single-paragraph posts that help draw ic storylines along))
They appeared to be
They appeared to be stalking her from location to location and keeping an uncomfortable eye contact. The dear girl seemed a bit rattled. Shameful behavior that I would expect from thugs and rogues on Murder Row, not our city guard! What is our dear, beloved city coming to?!

Oneska frowns and pouts her lips, thinking a moment before she responds.
All due respect, sir, but I'm not sure that city guards and officers following a citizen can be considered harrassment. What if the citizen is under suspicion, or in danger? Would it not be a valid security effort or somesuch? I mean, if they didn't touch her or insult her...
I'm not sure I'd call surveillance as anything thuggish or rogueish, really. Not that I don't understand your concern... just that I think you may be over-reacting.
